Rich Cultural Experiences
With the centers of Hartford, West Hartford and the Farmington Valley just a short distance away, members of the Seabury community have the advantage of a rich cultural experience. Hartford Symphony, Hartford Stage, Wadsworth Atheneum, Bushnell Theater, Infinity Music Hall, the Connecticut Science Center, the Mark Twain House and Museum, Hill-Stead Museum, Harriet Beecher Stowe Center, the New Britain Museum of Modern Art, the Talcott Mountain Music Festival, Xfinity Theatre and many smaller artistic venues are some of the many attractions available to you.
Further from Seabury, but still close enough to enjoy for an afternoon or evening outing, are musicals at the Goodspeed Opera House, the Longwharf Theater, the Toyota Oakdale Theater, the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History, the Yale Museum of British Art, the Florence Griswold Museum, Mystic Seaport and the Mystic Aquarium.
There are a myriad of attractions west of Seabury in Litchfield and the Berkshires; for example, the Norman Rockwell Museum in Stockbridge, MA, and Tanglewood, the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Connecticut also has many wonderful State Parks to enjoy.
