Wade Hiltabidel has been a Seabury resident for fifteen years and has been exercising and staying active through the fitness center ever since he moved to Seabury. He tries to get a workout in every single day, but says he probably averages four to six fitness center visits per week. That fact alone highlights Wade’s dedication to his physical fitness and deserves recognition! His exercise routine consists of the Functional Strength class – building key muscle groups to help maintain balance and perform daily activities – on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, as well as working on the strength and cardio machines on Tuesday and Thursday. In addition, he usually tries to visit the fitness center one or two days on the weekend. He believes his dedication is what’s leading his way to a healthy, functional lifestyle. “My lower body strength is much better than it used to be,” he states firmly. Wade has also spent quality time working out with one of our personal trainers, Chlake Raineau, to resolve neuropathy issues in his feet. He says the time he spent with Chlake “truly got me back on my feet,” and what he was able to take away from his sessions with Chlake was priceless. “I learned how to walk at the age of 81.” Wade is very excited about the changes happening in the fitness center and is ready to take on whatever we can throw at him. Well Wade, here’s to you and your efforts and successes on your journey to age successfully. Congratulations!
