Richard C. Heath Named Seabury's New CEO
Bloomfield, CT – February 20, 2012 – After conducting an extensive, nationwide search, Seabury, a premier life care community, is pleased to announce that Richard Heath has accepted an offer to become Seabury’s new CEO and Executive Vice President. Mr. Heath takes the leadership role in the wake of the passing in August 2011, of John S. Mobley, Seabury’s first and only CEO since the community was founded in 1992.

During the search process he displayed not only exemplary leadership quantities, but also a commitment to senior living, wellness and the entrepreneurial spirit that has kept Seabury in the forefront of its industry,” said Board President, Ray Madorin. “The Board welcomes Rick into the Seabury family and is looking forward to working with him on many innovative projects in the future.”
Mr. Heath comes to Seabury with more than 30 years of experience at the executive level in senior health and housing management and operations. He was President and CEO for 15 years at Gulf Coast Village Retirement Community, a not-for-profit CCRC in Cape Coral, Florida, and most recently served as Director of the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Gulfport, Mississippi. Mr. Heath received his undergraduate degree in history at The Ohio State University, and his Masters of Science with a concentration in Gerontology and Business Administration from the University of North Texas. He is a native of Columbus, Ohio.
